The Lions, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Posted on January 22, 2011 at 7:05 PM

Local football fans woke up to the shocking news on January 6 when the Singapore Football Association made an unprecedented move by sacking the entire National Football Team. Recent bad performance and ill-discipline and a need to revamp the team were some of the reasons mentioned.

Well, as everyone is trying to make sense of the drama being played, I cannot help but have my own go at it.

The Lions

Honestly I have not foll...

In the recent month or so, the local papers have been covering quite a fair bit about youth street gang violence. Many have been left shocked and aghast at the level of senseless violence on the streets.

Posted on November 20, 2010 at 6:55 PM

Confession of a Liverpool Fan

By Ian Morris

There are many things I do not understand. Like how the galaxy works, what happened to the dinosaurs and why do some claim apes are our distant relative, though some of mine look the part. I have added one more to that list in the aftermath of Liverpool’s defeat against Chelsea last Sunday. I tried very hard to understand but it seems that my finite mind just simply failed to ge...

BLOG: First and Nothing Less

I was going through last weekend’s Agape Cup updates on VOXSPORTS.NET, our media partner. I could not help but being irked when I read the headlines. “HP displays championship form with victory over Team GAL”, it read. “HP displayed their championship credentials with a fluid 3-1 win over Team GAL. With their unique 3-3-4 formation, they once again managed to lock out the opposing team’s players and their s...
