After the dramatics of last Sunday’s win over WTOS FC, the Hilderincs were given a well-deserved repose, albeit in an unplanned manner, when they were awarded a Walkover win over CPL FC after the latter conceded the fixture due to their inability to muster the numbers.
Taking into serious consideration of their tangible prospects from now till the end season, the Blacks, while eager to respond in full measure for the fortuitous defeat by the same opponents barely a month ago, decided to take the walkover win now, rather than reclaim all three points on a later date, though it would come at a huge concession on their part and could risk being a disadvantage.
To preserve the momentum, the Blacks will now play a friendly game against Royal Phoenix Football Club, incoming debutants, who will begin their ESPZEN Sunday League tenure next season but has already warmed up to the task with a 4-3 win over Deportivo Lions earlier in March.
Despite the eventful week, the Hilderincs eyes are firmly fixed on Predator FC, whom they will play next Sunday, as enter the final stretch of their season.
